Maid of Honor & Bridesmaid Proposal Gifts

Recently, Tristan and I have used our weekends to tour wedding venues, talk with event coordinators, and finalize budgets. While several aspects of the wedding are still unknown at this time (hello, the date?!), I do know who I want standing up there with me (aside from Tristan, of course).

I would say our wedding party is on the larger side. I have 7 Bridesmaids and 1 Maid of Honor, matching Tristan’s 7 Groomsmen and 1 Best Man. I wanted to put together a cute “Bridesmaid/MOH” proposal while still staying conscious of the budget. Luckily, I found a few great pieces that are functional and stylish (matching the wedding colors, too)!

1. Personalized Bags

I’m a southern girl at heart and love a classic monogram. I was excited to find these cute makeup bags from one of my favorite stores- Tuckernuck. I customized the bags to add each girl’s three-letter monogram in diamond font. I also loved the canvas material, since it’s not overly girly and is quite durable for multiple uses (i.e. makeup bag, pencil carrier). Tuckernuck made it really easy to visualize the final look with their monogram generator! I ordered the bags around Thanksgiving so it took a few weeks to ship during the holiday season. Also, it can take a little longer with personalized items. I’m really happy with how they turned out!

2. Face Masks

Neutrogena sells one of my favorite face masks, so I picked up a few of these to include as well. They always leave my face feeling hydrated and work well for those with sensitive skin, too. We could all use a little pampering from time to time!

3. Satin Hair Accessories

Not only have we heard about how great satin is on the skin and hair, but also how pricey it can be! Luckily, I stumbled across Kitsch’s Satin Scrunchies in a cute leopard pattern that was fairly priced. I purchased a pack of five scrunchies for each girl to have! Kitsch often has great sales, so if you’re in the market for satin items, see what deals they have first!

4. Mini Bubbly to Celebrate!

To celebrate with a toast, I included mini La Marca prosecco bottle from Total Wine. I couldn’t help but fall in love with the cute packaging! If you prefer non-alcoholic beverages, you can easily swap out the champagne for sparkling waters, sodas, ciders, and lemonades! Here are a few of my favorite non-alcoholic choices: Elderflower and Rose Cordial, Grapefruit Fever-Tree, Sparkling Cider, Sparkling Rose, Rose Lemonade.

5. Proposal Cards

I made my own bridesmaid/MOH proposal cards, having been inspired by the talented Sam Sidney based in Charleston, SC. I took a few evenings after work to construct them and I think they turned out well! I purchased the felt to craft with from Amazon (here and here).

The last step was to package the gifts up and send them on their way to my selected recipients! The blue and white stripped goodie bags (here) were the perfect height for a medium-sized priority box (here). I included crinkle-cut paper shred (here) to protect the items during the shipping process. I customized the tags, which were inspired by wedding invitations I found on Pinterest. I then printed them on sticker paper (here) and secured them to the bags. Just a heads-up-shipping is expensive!! Compare options of weight/size first to find the carrier option that makes the most sense for the item(s) you are sending!

As a bonus– here’s what we gave/giving our flower girl (here) and ring bearer (here):

When I was shopping for my bridesmaids, I came across several sites with such cute ideas! Depending on your budget/ crafting expertise, there are many routes you can go when building your gifts! If you have your own craft machine (Cricut/Silhouette/Cameo), you can definitely make a few of these yourself (i.e. cut out sticker decals for glassware or heat-press onto cheap koozies). Literally so many things you could do! Or- if you just want to buy the finished product, I have included ideas below that work for a range of budgets.

Hopefully, we will finalize a wedding date and venue in the next few weeks. Then I can finally start sharing more on our wedding plans!
